Governing the use of session markers and authentication trackers. Last updated: April 11, 2026.
1. Functional Necessity
Under the ePrivacy Directive (EU) and relevant international privacy laws, certain "session markers" are defined as strictly essential for the delivery of a service requested by the user. The Argus platform utilizes these markers to ensure the security, authentication, and deterministic integrity of your monitoring sessions.
Without these functional markers, our infrastructure would be unable to validate your cryptographic handshake, preventing the ingestion of training telemetry and the execution of autonomous interventions.
2. Enumerated Markers
The following markers are utilized by the *.plarv.com domain:
- _auth_token
Essential. Stores the institutional JWT required to maintain your authenticated state across the Control Plane.
- _session_marker
Security. Prevents Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks during high-speed telemetry pulse ingestion.
- _intervention_id
Functional. tracks active fail-safe interventions for persistence in the forensic recovery ledger.
- _gate_preference
Functional. Preserves your clinical typographic and accessibility preferences across authenticated sessions.
- _ingress_id
Security. Temporary identifier based on IP data used to validate the non-automated nature of form submissions and prevent denial-of-service attempts.
3. The No-Tracking Manifesto
Unlike conventional SaaS platforms, Argus is a clinical instrument. We do not engage in behavioral tracking, cross-site profiling, or advertising-driven data distribution. We do not utilize third-party pixels from advertising networks (e.g., Meta, Google Ads).
Every marker created by Plarv is "First-Party" and is logically isolated from the rest of the web. We do not sell your session data, nor do we use it to train or benefit other monitoring models.
4. Consent and Management
You may manage or disable markers via your browser settings. However, you acknowledge that disabling essential functional markers will trigger an automated suspense protocol, as the Argus Gate will no longer be able to certify the legitimacy of your telemetry pulses.
